This short course will cover topics such as understanding the energy crisis, how to be energy efficient in your choices, and understanding energy costs.
Upon completion of this course, you will have a better insight into what fuel poverty is, why it exists and how to work on eliminating it. This can be used as part of professional work with vulnerable clients, or to improve your own situation.
This course will be completed in one guided session, so no self-study is required.
Upon completing the course, you will complete a short assessment to test your knowledge before your tutor can sign you off.

This course would be suitable to people who have an interest in fuel poverty and the UK energy situation, either at a professional or personal level. We have catered the course to develop understanding from a beginner level, so no previous knowledge is required.
This course has been designed to give a basic level of understanding of fuel poverty and the UK energy situation, that can be used as a stepping stone for further in-depth courses or to apply in your day-to-day lives in addressing issues in your own property, or to advise people you work with.
