£1 million funding secured to warm the West Midlands
November 5, 2024
Act on Energy has been awarded more than £1 million of funding to help people right across the West Midlands region keep warm and well this winter and beyond. The West Midlands has the unenviable title of the highest proportion of fuel-poor households England. There’s a lot to tackle – so we were delighted to welcome newly appointed West Midlands Mayor, Richard Parker, to our new offices in the centre of Birmingham to learn more about our work in helping to address fuel poverty.
