Worcestershire County Council has obtained funding through the UK government’s Help to Heat schemes to improve the energy efficiency of low-income households with low Energy Performance Certificate ratings in Bromsgrove, Redditch, Malvern, and Wychavon.
The HUG2 scheme aims to improve the warmth and comfort of homes that do not have mains-gas heating, whilst also reducing energy bills, carbon emissions and levels of fuel poverty across the county.
A range of energy efficiency improvements have been made available through this scheme and include clean heating solutions, such as air source heat pumps and insulation measures.
You don’t need to contribute as this is a grant scheme, but certain criteria will apply.
Please note that all applications are subject to a technical survey and an application acceptance does not guarantee that work will go ahead.
